Biography
A great traveller, guitar in hand
Singer, songwriter and composer, D2clo is also a great traveller who has been to Africa, Asia, India, the French Caribbean, Jamaica, England and the United States. His songs blend reggae, bossa, blues, rock and pop.
- 1991
A music lover, he founds the reggae band Shelawam, as singer and guitarist. The band plays around the Paris region until 2004. With friends from the Les Zuluberlus association and through many shows at the Cadran in Colombes, he helps drive the local music scene.
- 2005
He embarks on a rock adventure with his band Métro until 2007, then keeps on writing, singing and recording. On guitar, he backs various Caribbean reggae acts, including the young reggae soul artist M’Tess.
- 2012
He self-produces several tracks at Wise Studio in Ris-Orangis, with the musicians of the Home Band and Fabwise at the controls.
- 2013
He devotes himself to a solo career that gives pride of place to French chanson.
- 2022
He is distributed by Nouvelle Session Label, a partnership that brings his music to a wider audience.
Guitar in hand, he keeps going his own way, sowing his notes and choruses along the road.
